First of all I'd like to welcome you to the Anna, Charlie, Niamh & Hel's Bloody Big Walk blog!
As you'll probably know by now, the 4 of us have started 2008 by embarking on the challenge of a lifetime:
In a little less than 5 months time we will be taking on the mean feat of walking a whopping 100km in the space of 30 hours (that's right, you read that correctly - 100km, otherwise known as 62 miles!!) over the weekend of 19th and 20th July.
The event we're taking part in is called Trailwalker and this apparent insanity is actually in aid of 2 very good causes - Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
On this page we intend to give you some more information about these 2 great charities which there wasn't room for on our main Justgiving page, and to share with you some of the highs and lows of our preparation for the big day!
